The Role

This is not a traditional inventory management role.

We are seeking someone who can combine strong planning and inventory expertise with a passion for systems, data and continuous improvement. • Managing inventory requirements for bought\-in finished goods, hardware, components, packaging, labels and assembly materials.

  • Translating customer demand and seasonal forecasts into practical stock, capacity and resource plans, including requirements for the Christmas peak.

  • Using EFACS, or any future ERP/MRP system, as the primary source for planning, inventory and supply information within the role.

  • Helping to improve planning processes, reporting, data accuracy and system utilisation.

  • Working closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Assembly, Sales and Operations teams.

  • Building shared planning knowledge and agreed cross\-cover to improve holiday cover and business resilience.

  • Supporting continuous improvement and reducing unnecessary reliance on paper, standalone spreadsheets and individual knowledge.
About You

You will have:

  • Experience in supply chain, production, assembly, materials or inventory planning within a manufacturing, FMCG or similarly fast\-paced environment.

  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system to support planning, inventory or purchasing decisions.

  • Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Confident Excel and data analysis capability.

  • The ability to engage and influence experienced colleagues, explain the benefits of change and challenge established practices constructively.

  • A practical, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience of EFACS or a comparable manufacturing ERP/MRP system.

  • Food manufacturing, seasonal business or FMCG experience.
