About the Role
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the end\-to\-end management and optimization of the supply chain for our advanced semiconductor projects. Based in Bologna, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, plan and monitor material deliveries, and ensure the resilience and efficiency of our supply chain. You will play a key role in building a robust supplier network, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, monitoring performance and compliance.
- Lead negotiations to secure optimal terms for cost, delivery times, and quality.
- Draft and manage supply contracts.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure flexibility and risk reduction.
- Develop and oversee procurement plans aligned with project schedules; monitor material arrivals and manage shortage lists.
- Expedite critical supplies, coordinate logistics, and oversee assembly activities.
- Resolve issues related to delays, non\-conformities, and cleanroom material requirements.
- Implement strategies to reduce costs and build a resilient, sustainable supply chain.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Advanced skills in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relations.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and international logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities in complex scenarios.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
