THE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER OPPORTUNITY

• Take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory, and logistics.


• Lead forecasting and supply planning in collaboration with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless fulfilment.


• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive performance across cost, quality, and service metrics.


• Develop and optimise production schedules in line with demand and inventory targets, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing systems, KPIs, and data-led decision-making across the supply chain function.

• Proven experience in supply chain management within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar environment.


• Strong understanding of forecasting, procurement, production planning, and inventory control.


• Demonstrable experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.


• Comfortable operating in a hands-on SME environment with a proactive and adaptable approach.


• Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Excel.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams.


• Desirable: CIPS qualification, or experience implementing new systems/processes.
