Summary of Internship
Become a Supply Chain Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Ferentino, Province of Frosinone, Italy, and join a dynamic team dedicated to making impactful contributions.
Internship opportunities to build Supply Chain competences in key areas:
The resource will assist with the analysis and improvement of supply chain processes to ensure flawless execution, conduct data analysis to determine areas for efficiency, performance improvement, and process sustainability and collaborate with the Team Leader on manufacturing planning and inventory management to maintain efficient stock levels.
Essential Functions:
- Supply Chain critical metrics will be tracked collaborating with cross\-functional teams to successfully implement supply chain strategies and production readiness; monitoring and reporting onto track progress and identify areas for improvement.
+ Helping with documentation and administrative tasks to support the supply chain department.
+ Ensuring compliance with GMP procedures and working according to GMP standards.
Qualifications:
- Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor’s degree in a related science, engineering, or life science field.
- Preferred majors: Management Engineering, Scientific Degree, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data\-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams with varied strengths.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast\-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and grow
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with global teams and collaborators.
