About the Role:

You will lead the development of Ferrero’s global logistics automation strategy, helping transform warehouses, manufacturing plants and distribution centres through advanced automation, data and digital supply chain solutions.

From strategic assessment and concept design to implementation, commissioning and benefits realization, you will connect long\-term direction with practical delivery. Your work will improve productivity, capacity, service and operational efficiency across international operations.

As a senior subject matter expert, you will shape warehouse transformation standards, influence investment decisions and support wider end\-to\-end supply chain digitalization initiatives, including artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data\-driven decision\-making.

Main Responsibilities:

You will define the global logistics automation roadmap and identify where technology can create measurable operational value. You will lead feasibility studies and warehouse assessments, collaborate on automated material flows and layouts, and use throughput analysis, simulation modelling and capacity planning to guide robust solution choices.

You will lead complex capital programs through governance, schedules, budgets and risk management, coordinating suppliers, system integrators and engineering partners. You will support the definition of functional and technical specifications, oversee commissioning and operational handover, and track whether expected business benefits are achieved after go\-live.

You will build credible investment dossiers and business cases, supporting return\-on\-investment, net\-present\-value, internal\-rate\-of\-return and total\-cost\-of\-ownership analysis. Alongside Finance and Procurement, you will contribute to negotiations and lifecycle\-cost decisions while balancing performance, reliability and long\-term operational efficiency.

You will also lead the Global Warehouse subject\-matter\-expert community, share best practices and coach regional teams on automation opportunities. Your technology scope may include automated storage and retrieval systems, shuttle systems, conveyors, sorters, autonomous vehicles, robotics, automated loading, warehouse management and control systems, SAP EWM and digital twins.

About You:

You bring at least 10 years of relevant experience in logistics engineering, intralogistics, warehouse development, automation engineering or supply chain transformation, with evidence of leading complex implementations across multiple locations or geographies.

You combine hands\-on knowledge of automated warehousing and material\-handling technologies with strong program, financial and managerial capability. You can translate technical choices into clear business cases and communicate effectively with executives, operational teams and external partners.

You have delivered measurable productivity or financial benefits from automation investments and are comfortable working internationally. You are fluent in English and willing to travel when projects require on\-site assessment, technical dialogue, commissioning or implementation support.
