Head of Supplies Manager
Ashtead Hospital – Surrey
Full Time 37\.5 hours per week

As the Head of Supplies Manager this is a key Head of Department role across Ashtead Hospital.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the delivery of supplies \& stores services for the hospital and provide subject matter expertise to the hospital Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Department.
- Manage the delivery of services across a wide portfolio of other support ‘hotel’ services including, but not limited to, Housekeeping, portering, site security, inter hospital vehicle delivery services, site decoration and car parking.
- As a Head of Department the postholder is expected to participate in inter departmental and wider initiatives across Ramsay to develop and embed best practices.
- Other duties that are assigned by the Head of Operations that are within the scope of the skills set of the postholder.
- Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Promote the company in a positive manner both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect of others and a commitment to professional practice.
- Management of People and Teams.
- Budget management and/or at least familiarity in utilising supporting information to make informed business decision.
- An ability to plan and manage workload and flows effectively and organise manpower resources utilising rostering and human resources systems to meet these needs.
- Quality management and service improvement techniques.
- Detailed understanding of the SAP system or equivalent.
- Capability to act up and deputise for the Head of Operations.
- Demonstrated Computer Skills (particularly MS Office Packages).
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Flexibility, adaptability and versatility to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills.
