Responsibilities
- Supervise front\-of\-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts, to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate daily service operations, ensuring smooth flow from food preparation to serving guests.
- Lead team members by providing clear direction, training, and ongoing support to enhance their skills in food presentation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all front\-of\-house activities.
- Manage guest interactions to resolve issues promptly and ensure satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Assist with bar operations by supporting bartenders with drink preparation and maintaining bar cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor inventory levels of service supplies and assist in ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and leadership.
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on front\-of\-house operations.
- Supervising experience in a fast\-paced setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with bartending or barista duties is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems and POS (Point of Sale) technology.
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Previous hotel or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding diverse guest needs.
Pay: £13\.00\-£15\.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30\.0 – 40\.0 per week
