Role: Supervisor (Catering)

Location: Phoenix Park, Dublin

Salary: €16\.00 per hour

Full Time, 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: 5 over 7

Job Description

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

• Supervising the day\-to\-day operations of a busy catering environment focusing on team members roles


• Support daily operations


• Monitoring the training needs of the team and supporting where needed


• Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information


• Work with the Location Manager's budgets; achieve and maintain Health \& Safety and Food Standards in accordance with the budget and standards of BaxterStorey


• Develop and evolve all client’s services at the location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented


• Complete weekly stock takes


• Take and manage event bookings where required


• Assist with opening and closing procedures. Ensure that all units are prepared for daily operations and securely closed at the end of the day.


• Handle cash and banking.

Qualifications

• You provide a professional catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met


• Have experience in a Supervisor role ideally in contract catering or hospitality


• Good understanding of report writing and financial management.


• Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills


• Good delegation and influencing skills


• Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem\-solving


• Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service


• Must have good written and spoken English
