Supervising Social Worker

Location: Birmingham

Team: Fostering

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000

Social Personnel are recruiting for Supervising Social Worker for an Independent Fostering Agency based in Birmingham.

Duties Include:

  • Liaising with placing authorities to ensure child's care plan is followed through

  • Annual foster carer reviews

  • Manage a caseload of approved and registered foster carers

  • Participate in the matching process

  • Conduct assessments of prospective foster carers using BAAF Form F1 competency based assessment

Essential experience:
  • 2 years experience working as a Fostering Social Worker - statutory or non-statutory

  • Social Work England Registration

  • Degree in Social Work
