Our Football Fusion holiday camp is based at Millfield School in Somerset blends high‑tempo football coaching with fun, confidence‑building activities. The tone is energetic, inclusive, and focused on player development. The programme includes all aspects of the game including dribbling, passing, shooting, attacking and defending principles, tactics and strategies within the game, set pieces, penalties and goalkeeping whilst progressing into small\-sided games and tournaments. The children also take part in other Football games including Glow in the Dark Football, Dodgefoot and Footgolf.
Job Description
We are currently seeking, highly motivated Football coaches to join our ever\-growing team to assist in the delivery of our camps at Millfield in Somerset for children between the ages of 5\-12\. Our camps run Monday to Friday between the hours of 8\.00am and 4\.00pm during non\-term time. Flexible working hours are available with the option of working up to 40 hours a week based on availability and the role is subcontracted.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of the Football at the venue in Somerset.
- Assist in the delivery of our food education sessions and activities.
- Communicate and provide feedback to each parent.
- Adhere to our company policies including Safeguarding and First aid.
- Complete all administration tasks.
It is essential that candidates:
- Have experience in working with Primary School age children.
- Have experience of working at a holiday camp setting
- Have a Level 2 Football coaching qualification through the FA
- Enhanced DBS
- Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willing to complete prior to start date)
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certification (or willing to complete prior to start date)
- Competent in literacy and numeracy at level 3 standard
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Have a level 3 Football coaching qualification through the FA
- Have experience of working with SEN and EAL children.
- Are able to use a variety of successful behaviour management strategies within their practise.
- Offer a wide range of CPD courses/ training to develop as a coach
- Potential for taking on more active roles within the company during term and non\-term time
- Work within a positive and supportive team to help develop your personal targets and career
Interview Process:
Candidates will be expected to attend a formal interview via Zoom. Candidates will also be expected to complete our Criminal Records and Child Protection Declaration forms during the interview process.
