About the Team
The subscription account maangement team at Nutanix is a dynamic and collaborative group, located in Barcelona. This team prides itself on a culture of being both hungry and humble, where members work together towards achieving shared goals, particularly in customer renewals. The team is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging customer experience while driving retention and success within the client base. With a strong emphasis on cross\-collaboration and teamwork, the mission of the customer success team is to create a steady and healthy ecosystem for customer engagement, ensuring clients derive maximum value from Nutanix's offerings.
You will report to the Manager, Subscription Account Manager, who values open communication and encourages team members to take ownership of their roles. The manager's leadership style prioritizes collaboration and empowerment, fostering an environment where team members can thrive and develop their skills.
About the Role* Engage with customers to drive renewals and upsell opportunities through proactive communication.
- Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Collaborate with the field organization to develop and implement territory and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct customer calls and prepare by researching customer inventory and develop the pricing strategy.
- Manage administrative responsibilities related to customer accounts and renewal processes.
- Participate in cross\-functional projects to enhance subscription management and renewal sales processes.
- Achieve performance targets related to customer retention and new opportunity identification within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong negotiation and problem management skills.
- Experience in maintaining customer relationships and lead qualification.
- Technical savvy, with proficiency in Salesforce, Slack, Tableau, and Excel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and channel partners.
- Energy and enthusiasm in customer interactions.
- Intellectual capacity to understand business dynamics.
- A minimum of 2\-4 years of experience in customer success, renewal sales, or account sales.
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in\-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in\-office resources.
