Student Support Officer

Signature Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Student Support Officer to join a well-regarded education provider for an immediate start.
This temporary, full-time Student Support Officer role is office-based within a well-regarded education setting, easily accessible from South East London and Kent, and will run for the whole of next term. Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, the position offers £16ph plus holiday pay. You will work closely with the pastoral and student support teams to provide welfare, attendance, behaviour, and administrative support across a busy school environment. An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.

Student Support Officer - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral and administrative support across student services
- Respond to student, parent, and staff enquiries professionally
- Monitor attendance, wellbeing, and behaviour processes
- Maintain accurate student records and update internal systems
- Support safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns where appropriate
- Assist with school events, student support activities, and general administration
- Previous experience within administration or student support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and manage priorities effectively
