For Nipro Medical, we are looking for a Student who is experienced, hands\-on, and communicative to join us in our Regulatory team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium.
About the role
Nipro Medical Europe is preparing for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements. In the coming months, a large volume of packaging related data and documentation will be collected for our medical device portfolio. To support this activity, we are looking for a motivated student to help structure, verify and consolidate this information.
How you will contribute
- Collect, structure and consolidate packaging data (e.g. dimensions, weight, material composition, recyclability) into a central Excel file
- Manage incoming documentation related to packaging (e.g. Declarations of Conformity, technical documentation) and store it in an organised manner
- Support verification of packaging data, including:
o Supporting basic weighing or physical checks of packaging components where data is missing
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain) to follow up on missing or unclear information
- Provide general administrative and data support to the Regulatory Affairs / Sustainability team
- Student (Bachelor or Master) – ideally in engineering, life sciences, sustainability, regulatory affairs or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with Excel and structured data
- Proactive, organised and able to follow up with different stakeholders
- Interest in sustainability, packaging or regulatory topics is a plus
- Hands on experience with EU sustainability and regulatory requirements
- Exposure to real packaging and medical device compliance projects
- Short term, well defined project with clear responsibilities
- Flexible working arrangements (hybrid possible)
