Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail\-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Develop detailed structural designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to determine load capacities and safety margins.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate resources effectively through project management tools.
- Oversee construction activities on\-site to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Utilise system design principles to develop innovative solutions for complex structural challenges.
- Perform quality control checks and review designs for compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles within civil engineering contexts.
- Experience with project management methodologies to oversee multiple projects efficiently.
- Competence in advanced mathematical software such as Mathcad for detailed analysis.
- Familiarity with construction processes and on\-site supervision.
- Excellent problem\-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Pay: £38,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
