<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Join our growing Structural team as a Structural Project Engineer. In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a project engineer you will </span><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients.<strong><em> </em></strong></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">This position will be in our office in Milwaukee, WI.</span></p>
<h5><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">The Impact You Will Have</span></h5>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Draw design details under direction of others.</li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.</li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards.</li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Coordinate drafting of an element.</li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Perform field or site visits as needed.</li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes and standards and use of applicable CADD and Microsoft software.</span></li>
</ul>
<h5><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">What We Are Looking For</span></h5>
<ul>
<li>B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required</li>
<li>PE License in Wisconsin or ability to obtain through reciprocity</li>
<li>Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) – not required, but preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of design, load rating and inspection experience</li>
<li>Experience working with WisDOT and/or municipalities</li>
<li>Excellent communication and client relation skills</li>
<li>Progressive experience with developing contract and utilizing MicroStation Connects, Open Roads and Open Bridge Design software</li>
