That is why we are looking for a Strategic Buyer who wants to help shape the supply chain of tomorrow.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact. You will work closely with colleagues from Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality, and have a direct influence on the performance and growth of our organization. You will translate market developments into opportunities, build sustainable supplier relationships, and help Broshuis improve every single day.

What will you do?
As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for your own supplier portfolio and product categories. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sourcing and supplier strategies.
- Building long\-term partnerships with suppliers in the Netherlands and abroad.
- Conducting contract and price negotiations.
- Identifying opportunities related to cost reduction, quality improvement, innovation, and sustainability.
- Managing risks within the supply chain.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams on product development and improvement projects.
- Analyzing market developments and translating them into strategic decisions.

Who are you?
Above all, we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating, analyzing, and improving.
Ideally, you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's level of working and thinking.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier management.
- An interest in engineering and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication skills.
- An analytical and inquisitive mindset.
- The ability to build relationships and guide people through change.
