Stores Operative

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a large and well-established maintenance organisation on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with previous stores or warehouse experience and a valid forklift truck licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries


• Picking, packing and issuing stock items


• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently


• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels


• Loading and unloading vehicles


• Ensuring the stores area is kept clean, organised and safe


• Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required

Requirements

• Valid Forklift licence


• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment


• Good understanding of stock control procedures


• Ability to work accurately and efficiently


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• Good communication and teamwork skills
