Store Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the store’s organisational standards. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations


• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service


• Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance


• Oversee merchandising activities to ensure products are well\-presented and stock levels are maintained


• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy


• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management


• Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and promote store promotions


• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies


• Provide training and support to new team members, fostering a positive working environment

Skills

• Proven management experience within retail or similar environments, including supervising teams


• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in multiple languages (multilingual/bilingual skills are advantageous)


• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively


• Experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative duties


• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills


• Proficient in time management with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously


• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and foster teamwork


• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and store presentation


• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy retail environment
