Store Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations at our store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong management skills to contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Duties

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service


• Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation


• Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals to foster a productive working environment


• Manage inventory levels, organise stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers as necessary


• Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to maximise revenue


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the store


• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person


• Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform business decisions


• Ensure compliance with company policies, health \& safety regulations, and legal requirements

Qualifications

• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous


• Organised with effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently


• Demonstrated ability in merchandising, sales management, stock control and administrative duties


• Experience in team management and developing staff through coaching and mentoring


• Proficient organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and store presentation


• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills


• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and organisational standards

Pay: £33,000\.00 per year
