Store Manager - Full Time
Job Summary
Brew Factory, Cardiff is looking to establish itself as a leader in specialty coffee, hot food, patisserie, gelato, matcha and premium drinks in Cardiff. We're looking for a driven, hands\-on Store Manager to take full ownership of our Cardiff store and lead it to its next stage of growth and success!

Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of customer service
- Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding experiences
- Manage merchandising displays to maximise product visibility and appeal
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication with customers, vendors, and staff
- Organize team training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills
- Proven management experience in a retail environment with managerial responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Ability to take full ownership and accountability for store operations, standards, and performance
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every customer receives an outstanding experience
- Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, labour costs, wastage, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and increase average transaction value
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to build a strong, capable team
- Manage staff rotas, performance, and day\-to\-day people management
- Maintain the highest standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and health \& safety compliance
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to minimise waste and maximise margin
- Proven experience managing a café, restaurant, or retail store, ideally within hospitality or coffee
- Demonstrated experience in sales management and merchandising techniques
- Exceptional organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
- Prior experience in retail management or similar roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of store operations, inventory control, and customer service standards
- A strong track record of hitting sales targets and managing KPIs
- Experience recruiting, training, and managing a team
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A hands\-on, proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure
- Passion for coffee and delivering great customer experiences
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, including weekends

Pay: £30,420\.00\-£34,790\.00 per year
