Stock Room Assistant - Role Overview
The Stock Room Assistant will oversee day-to-day operations, manage supplier relationships, place and track orders, support packaging and dispatch, and assist with in-store events. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and has strong attention to detail.
Stock Management
- Track deliveries, manage backorders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve order issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and organise product packaging and presentation in line with brand standards.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service throughout the store.
- Support online order fulfilment, including packaging and dispatch.
- Help prepare event materials, signage, and logistical details.
- Previous experience in retail, office administration, or team coordination.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Comfortable using POS systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office/ Google Workspace.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a proactive, positive attitude.
