An opportunity has arisen in Housing Property Services to recruit a Stock Information Officer. The role sits within the Housing Investment section, where you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the development of investment strategies that address future stock needs and achieve Government policies and targets.
Main duties of the post include the high\-quality collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and reconciliation of detailed stock condition, energy efficiency, asset compliance and risk data.
Please note that we will shortlist according to the job specific qualifications and the shortlisting and interview criteria shown in the job profile. The successful candidate will have:
- Evidence of being highly proficient in utilising a wide variety of computer applications in support of data analysis and presentation of high\-quality business intelligence
- Experience in proactively identifying areas of poor data quality or concern and taking appropriate action to validate, update, and deliver improvement to the data and the collection systems used
- Proficiency in the analysis of complex datasets and communicating the findings in a range of formats to non\-technical people
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Substantial experience as a key user of a business application database
- Experience of using a range of computer applications and ICT including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, internet, and e\-mail.
