About the role

We are looking for a Stock and Supply Chain Coordinator within the Commercial Team to aid the team with the delivery of supply within a growing business on a day\-to\-day basis. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Supervisor. The role will be based full time at our Kings Hill office in Kent.

The stock is intricate serial tracked networking equipment and Starlink/Satellite that requires manual handling and packaging daily. We range from 10 to 20 packages per day which weigh up to 20KG. We also have several deliveries daily to the office including stock returns and new equipment orders. Whilst the main day to day role will be within Stock Control, you will also assist the Supply Chain Supervisor with their tasks where required with a view to be able to perform these tasks independently.

Your main duties

Compliance with the Stock Management Procedure, which will achieve the objectives set out below:

  • Ensure that every item of Onwave stock is shown in the stock control system, including where it is and, if deployed to a customer, which site.

  • Conduct stocktakes at appropriate intervals to verify stock records are correct.

  • Pick the right stock items requested by an Employee, ensure that a careful record is kept of the transfer of custody.

  • Ensuring that incoming stock items are checked for damage on return to the office and allocated for testing before returning to stock, again keeping a careful record of their details.

  • Ensure the Stock Room and build area is tidy and that an effective labelling system is in place to make items easy to locate.

  • Build and assemble customer equipment that is being sent to sites.

  • Make sure that the correct accessories are provided with each delivery.

  • Manage the SIM estate.

  • Printing courier delivery labels and ensuring the deliveries are being sent to the correct location.

  • Managing consumable stock and informing the commercial team when stock levels are low and reordering is required.

  • Returns of equipment, checking for damages and ensuring that all expected items are returned.

  • Limit the waste of packaging.

  • Assisting with Stock Control admin tasks

  • Support deliveries to customers/couriers in case of emergency.

  • Raising of Purchase orders and assisting with purchasing

  • Assisting Supply Chain Supervisor in tasks including, but not limited to 1\) Review of Supplier Onboarding Questionnaires; 2\) Running and generating reports for review and 3\) Preparation of documents for director sign off
About you
  • A logical and organised attitude.

  • Being able to insist on procedures being followed to protect stock from getting lost.

  • Attention to detail is highly desirable.

  • Ability to read data, understand it and spot patterns or issues

  • Ability to work autonomously where required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in dealing with personnel at all levels in a professional manner.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable using other Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Teams. Experience with CRM systems is helpful.

  • A strong level of verbal and written communication skills.

  • Manual handling experience is beneficial but not essential.

  • Full UK driver’s license.

  • DBS Basic check required.

  • Right to work in the UK
