Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Steward to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Duties

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision


• Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic at all times


• Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans according to health and safety standards


• Support the serving team by refilling supplies and clearing tables as needed


• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials


• Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or contamination


• Assist in setting up dining areas prior to service and cleaning after service concludes


• Support other team members with additional tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential


• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous


• Familiarity with kitchen hygiene standards and safety procedures


• Excellent organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service


• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
