We are currently recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at an entry\-level and receive world\-class training to get you on to a defined career pathway.

Working Pattern
-------------------
Week 1: 07:00 \- 15:00
Week 2: 12:00 \- 20:00
Weekend Rota:
Working hours: 08:00\-16:00
Participation in the weekend rota on a one\-in\-four basis.
When scheduled to work a weekend, a day off in lieu will be provided during the week.
On\-Call Duty:
Participation in the on\-call rota is required, with flexibility essential.
What's involved
-------------------
- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person.

- + An annual salary of £25,272 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours! Plus, a higher cost of living allowance if you work in London.
