The Steel Sourcing \- Sales Support Manager will be based in our Madrid office. In this position, you will report to the Steel Sourcing Director. This role is designed to coordinate all supply chain support to sales to increase win rate globally.
The Sourcing department is responsible for driving costs by deploying our specific strategies, while building strong relationships with core suppliers. The Sales Support Manager will play a key role in translating sourcing strategies and cost intelligence into actionable inputs for Sales and commercial decision\-making.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do...
- Act as the main interface between Sales and Sourcing for quotation support
- Monitor consistency of sales support across regions and projects to ensure Sales is working from reliable and comparable data
- Train regional Cost Override teams to ensure consistent application of SOPs and guidelines, while holding regular reviews to capture pain points, challenges, and improvement opportunities
- Drive AI\-based automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and response time
- Work closely with Cost Override team, Planning and Operations to align project\-level margin and cost assumptions
- Lead continuous improvement of the Supply Chain sales support through QBRs, efficiency gains, markets knowledge. Leveraging business systems, improved responsiveness, transparency, and accuracy
- Improve Supply Chain sales support process to ensure consistency in deliverable and service across regions and products
- Fluent oral and written communication in English and Spanish
- Experience in sourcing, sales support, pricing, cost management, supply chain or project management
- Ability to work with cross\-functional teams including Sales, Sourcing, Finance, Planning, Operations, and Engineering
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex cost information clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to prepare clear summaries and presentations for management review
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under commercial deadlines
- Good understanding of supplier cost drivers, logistics, duties, regional sourcing constraints, and commercial assumptions
- Ability to challenge inputs, identify inconsistencies, and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a global and multicultural environment
- Ability to thrive in a diversified international environment

- Strong sales\-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, engineering, supply chain or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sourcing, sales operations, supply chain or project cost management
- Experience supporting customer bids, RFQs, or large project quotations
- Experience in renewable energy, solar, steel or industrial manufacturing
- Experience working with global Sales teams across multiple regions
- Exposure to cost models, steel pricing, logistics, duties, supplier quotation analysis
- Strong business ownership and accountability
- Customer\-focused mindset with the ability to support Sales under tight timelines
- Strong analytical and structuring skills
- Ability to coordinate across regions and functions
- Ability to work in ambiguity and drive clarity across teams
- Collaborative mindset and strong cross\-functional leadership
