At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we’re looking for an experienced and driven Program Manager to lead complex, cross\-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) programs within our Protein \& Cell Analysis (PCA) business unit.
This is a high\-impact role with full accountability from concept through commercialization. You’ll sit at the center of innovation — connecting Business, R\&D, Operations, Quality, and Commercial — ensuring we deliver high\-quality bioscience solutions to customers around the world.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead complex, cross\-functional product development programs through successful commercialization
- Own program scope, integrated timelines, financial performance, resources, and risk strategy
- Drive disciplined execution using our structured Product Commercialization Process (PCP) stage\-gate model
- Anticipate technical, operational, and commercial risks — and address them early
- Clearly frame trade\-offs and guide teams toward timely, well\-informed decisions
- Lead core teams with clarity and accountability, fostering trust and shared ownership
- Create an environment where diverse perspectives are encouraged and constructive challenge strengthens outcomes
- Influence across the matrix through strong stakeholder management and communication
- Provide clear, confident updates to governance forums and senior leadership, escalating when appropriate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 6\+ years preferred of program or project management experience within product development (life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, or related industry preferred)
- Experience leading cross\-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Experience working within structured product development environments under ISO 13485 and stage\-gate governance
- Demonstrated ability to manage programs involving technical complexity and competing priorities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving capability
- Strong financial acumen, planning discipline, and risk management expertise
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and software (including MS Office suite)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
- Strong English communication skills required; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is considered an advantage. Demonstrated ability to influence, promote accountability, adapt leadership style, and resolve conflict effectively in matrix environments
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align program execution to business objectives
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus
- You lead high\-performing core teams built on trust, transparency, and accountability
- Major stage\-gate milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Programs operate with clarity and structure, with risks identified early and mitigated effectively
- Decisions are made confidently, even in ambiguous or high\-pressure situations
- Cross\-functional alignment is strong, and accountability is clear
- Business impact is visible through successful launches that advance science and deliver customer value
