HDU/ICU

Permanent Contract

(Full time \- 37\.5 hours per week)

Applications are invited for the above post in St. Vincent's Private Hospital.

We provide a wide range of care to surgical and medical patients of many specialities such as vascular, cardiology, thoracic surgery, colorectal, liver, oncology, haematology.

Role Summary

The Hospital has vacancies for a Staff Nurse on a full\-time, permanent basis in our HDU.

Essential Criteria

Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI, and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential).

Experience in an Endoscopy department (essential).

Have at least 1 years experience in an acute hospital setting (essential).

Have experience in the Irish Healthcare System (essential).

Hold a current Stamp 4 (essential).

Have proven clinical and professional ability.

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Have good IT skills, with ability to use Microsoft packages e.g. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint etc.

Competency in the English language is a requirement for the post.

Exhibit ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Validated course/qualification pertaining to the speciality eg ICU course. (desirable)

Ventilation experience (desirable)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course (desirable)
