Up to £25 per hour, depending on experience

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail\-oriented and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post\-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As an Pre\-Op Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:
- Pre Operative Assessing patients undergoing a variety of operations.
- We require you to have a good knowledge of history taking , understand the variety of procedures performed , health assessment and promotion and treat the patient in a holistic manner that incorporates a thorough assessment of the patients health condition , social circumstances and post operative recovery .
- Be part of a close\-knit team delivering matron\-led care in a consultant\-led service
- As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
- Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
- Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
