Saint Mary’s provides neonatal care across three sites, the NICU at Oxford Road Campus, and Local Neonatal Units at Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. We are looking for caring and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our neonatal team.

In this role, you will deliver high quality, family integrated care to babies requiring intensive, high dependency and special care. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help provide safe and effective care for infants with a wide range of clinical needs.

In this role, you will provide high quality, family integrated care to babies with a wide range of complex clinical needs. This includes infants with respiratory disease, renal and cardiac conditions, neurological presentations, complex genetic and metabolic disorders, and those requiring surgical intervention. You will also support the delivery of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screening and treatment, working safely and effectively across Intensive Care, High Dependency and Special Care areas.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced Neonatal, Children’s or Adult nurse, you will be supported to develop your skills and progress your career within our Managed Clinical Service. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will demonstrate a passion for delivering excellent patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care. You will also contribute to supporting junior and Pre Registration staff, promoting a positive learning environment and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and clinical practice.
