Our 28\-bed Adult Inpatient Unit offers specialist palliative and end\-of\-life care to adults with life\-limiting conditions across Stoke\-on\-Trent and North Staffordshire. We provide both short\-term symptom management and support in the final stages of life. You’ll be part of a dedicated multi\-disciplinary team delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care that focuses on dignity, comfort, and compassion — every step of the way.
?? What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering outstanding physical, emotional, and spiritual care tailored to each patient
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care as part of a multi\-professional team
- Leading shifts and supervising healthcare staff in the absence of senior nurses
- Participating in quality improvement, audits and continuous development
- Maintaining professional, accurate documentation in line with NMC and hospice policy
- NMC registration (RGN)
- A passion for palliative or complex care (experience desirable but not essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly across days and nights as part of a supportive team
- A commitment to professional development and delivering high standards of care
