Staff Nurse - Burns and Plastics

Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to develop your career within a supportive and progressive healthcare environment? As a Band 5 Staff Nurse with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and person\-centred care to a defined patient group. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care while supporting patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

• Part\-time, Permanent


• You will be based at The Glasgow Royal Infirmary


• Working Pattern: Monday \- Friday

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence\-based care programmes tailored to individual patient needs


• Provide high\-quality nursing care while promoting dignity, compassion and patient involvement in decision\-making


• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records in line with NMC standards and organisational requirements


• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care


• Supervise, support and act as a role model for healthcare support workers, students and junior staff


• Contribute to quality improvement, audit, research and clinical governance activities within the service


• Support the effective day\-to\-day management of resources, equipment and supplies within the clinical area

• First or Second Level Registered Nurse with current NMC registration


• Relevant or significant post\-registration nursing experience within a healthcare setting


• Demonstrable ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care within a clinical environment


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families and colleagues


• Ability to work independently, use sound clinical judgement and prioritise workload effectively


• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence\-based practice


• Ability to lead, support and supervise colleagues within a busy multidisciplinary healthcare environment
