Find Medical is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to join a leading private surgical hospital in Glasgow on a 6\-month fixed\-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse seeking a role within a modern, patient\-focused private healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work across either inpatient or outpatient services, delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing a range of elective surgical procedures.
The hospital specialises in a variety of surgical services, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, and other elective procedures, providing exposure to a diverse and rewarding patient caseload.
The Role
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of clinical care, ensuring patients receive a safe, positive, and professional experience throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high\-quality nursing care to patients within inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Undertake patient assessments and ongoing clinical observations.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
- Support patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Promote patient safety and ensure compliance with clinical governance standards.
- Contribute to maintaining an exceptional patient experience.
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience within an acute hospital environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Surgical nursing experience.
- Experience within a private healthcare setting.
- Exposure to orthopaedic, cosmetic, plastic surgery, or other elective surgical pathways.
- Experience working within inpatient or outpatient services.
- Up to £41,000 pro rata for the 6\-month contract.
- Full\-time position working 38 hours per week.
