The purpose of the post is to provide a comprehensive social work service to patients and their families to include psychosocial assessment and appropriate social work interventions. S/he will achieve this through the implementation of an accessible, equitable, person\-centred service where the focus is on psychosocial aspects of patient/family care.
The post is temporary, part\-time \& pensionable.
A panel will be formed from which future permanent or temporary vacancies may be filled’.
Appointment as an employee of the Health Service Executive is governed by the Health Act 2004 and the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointment) Act 2004
