Job purpose

  • Sr Technical Solution Consultant role is primarily responsible to increase LSS growth and profitability. This role act like a catalyst in growing LSS while working on latest technology on one hand and at the same time ensuring customer engagement on legacy technology through various programs and projects.

  • We are looking at top talent individuals who have will to lead the growth and who aspire to become successful business leaders.

  • Work with Sales and Service Leaders using the knowledge of Honeywell service programs to standardize solutions that meet a customer’s needs and requirements, and facilitate the development of opportunities.

  • Manage multiple pursuits across many accounts deploying value propositions that better fits in our customer’ vision and strategy, developing automation plans that allow the business to achieve revenue targets.

  • Link sales with marketing and service solutions to share customer needs into the NPI process

  • Provide competitive insight and trends in support of sales pursuits

  • Collaborate in promotion of Honeywell and development as an expert in your field through participation in industry forums, webinars, customer seminars

  • Developing the knowledge and network in his area of expertise

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10 Years of Operations/Sales/Sales Support Experience/Marketing

  • Thorough knowledge of Honeywell Process Solutions System hardware, software and general knowledge of aftermarket service offerings

  • Fluent English and fluent Italian or Spanish or French language knowledge are essential to this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills\- written and verbal

  • Master or Advanced Degree (MBA)

  • High technical knowledge around our HPA Solution and systems

  • Ability to influence across functions \& business groups to implement and drive change

  • Demonstrated writing skills to create a variety of technical documentation as described above

  • Work effectively with internal/ external management and customers

  • Ability to produce desired results in a deadline driven environment

Primary responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales and Service Leaders to identify a pipeline of opportunities. Engage with customers in a consultative capacity exploring their needs and tailoring solutions to meet these needs. Understand geographic market, customer installed base, buying behavior and needs. Develop site specific automation plan and align with customer requirement and expectations.

  • In support of the business, interact with internal resources to ensure the voice of the customer is included in plans for new programs and to ensure operational readiness as new solutions are deployed.

  • Continuously identifies new sales opportunities and focuses on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account;

  • Identify and develop the best fit comprehensive Automation plans and Automation overview for selected key customers

  • Serving as the expert for LSS LOB

  • Be the focal point for major LSS projects pursuit plans and proposal strategies.

  • Develop strong relationship with key customers in the process industries at all levels

  • Leverages and marshals cross functional company resources in support of the sale, addressing customer’s drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner;

  • Provide strategic vision for growth in new accounts, new markets, and new geographies while driving self and others for positive business results for Honeywell

  • Facilitate / attend meetings, workshops, events, roadshows, User Groups. Facilitate solution specific demonstrations and proof of concept testing.

  • Facilitate or participate in the customer site surveys and studies, review survey and reports. Facilitate the development and review of User Requirement Specifications.

  • Lead and drive the LSS growth campaigns and Horizontal Growth initiatives in the assigned technical area

Works together with Development Engineering and Marketing teams to prepare Service and sales field teams for new product launch readiness
  • Key deliverables:

  • Build and increase pipeline of key opportunities in the assigned technical field, and assigned geographic area, in this position primarily in Southern sales region within Europe region

  • Participation in Territory and Account Planning and Drive LSS Growth and Account Planning PFEC process

  • Deliver customer specific pursuit plans, for all LSS Horizontals, Migration overview and Long term modernization plans

  • Support specific growth initiatives and LSS programs if requested Pole wide

  • Drive LSS new horizontals deployment process and plans with assigned territory

  • Facilitate customer events and workshops

  • Active participation in major LSS programs.

  • Understanding customer needs and VOC, developing collaterals and marketing materials

  • Developing tailored solutions and automation plans, together with its related value propositions

  • Proof of concept design
Business Relationships:
  • Work with Sales and Service Leaders to identify a pipeline of opportunities. Engage with customers in a consultative capacity exploring their needs and tailoring solutions to meet these needs.

  • Understand geographic market, customer installed base, buying behavior and needs. Develop site specific automation plan and align with customer requirement and expectations.

In support of the business, interact with internal resources to ensure the voice of the customer is included in plans for new programs and to ensure operational readiness as new solutions are deployed.
  • Geographic Scope \& Travel Requirements

  • Typically assigned to an LSS region with all assigned customers/contracts. Assignment could be based on a specific geography, or type of customer.

  • This particular position primarily assigned but not limited to the customers based in France, Italy or Spain

Travel will be required to meet face to face with customers as well as for internal Honeywell meetings.

  • LSS business growth in the region above annual operating plans.

  • LSS initiatives and campaigns results

  • LSS Horizontal Order deliverables per AOP

  • High level of Customer satisfaction.

  • Quality of our forecast in terms of booking

  • Quality of accuracy cost estimations.

  • Level of update of our Installed Base.

  • Program launch and implementation cycle time.
