About the Role
As a QC Technician you'll support the QC department by testing products manufactured at Basingstoke to ensure they meet Quality Standards expected. You'll play an important role in participating in the QC team while collaborating with talented colleagues to deliver meaningful results for our customers, partners, and communities.
What You'll Do
- Test Dehydrated Culture Media and Supplementary Reagents
- Prepare Media and use autoclaves
- Be accountable for tracking progress of products under test and working as part of a team to raise an issues identified during QC testing.
- To work safely at all times, to work in accordance with SOPs and to comply with company Quality Management Systems.
- What We're Looking For
- Ideally someone with microbiology laboratory experience (pipetting, swabbing, streaking, pouring plates etc).
- Proven approach to working safely in the laboratory environment
- Close attention to detail with track record in following methods and SOPs
- Take personal accountability for their daily presence, performance and productivity.
