As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations forward.
\#\# Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all bookkeeping and financial operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Supervise and mentor an accounting assistant, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance oversight
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Oversee month\-end and year\-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with local Spanish tax regulations as well as international financial reporting requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities to support business decision\-making
- Manage payroll processing and related compliance requirements
- Support international financial operations, including multi\-currency transactions and cross\-border reporting
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
- Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Attend in\-office meetings and collaborative sessions at the Valencia headquarters on an as\-needed basis
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience with international financial operations and multi\-currency accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated experience managing or supervising accounting staff
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while maintaining clear and consistent communication with the team
- Willingness and ability to travel to the Valencia, Spain office on an as\-needed basis
- Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is strongly preferred
- Experience in the technology or data solutions industry is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
