Squad Lead

COSMOTE Global Solutions NV, a key player in the ICT industry and part of the OTE Group of Companies, is seeking an experienced Squad Lead to lead and mentor a dynamic team of software professionals. This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owns end\-to\-end delivery accountability across all squad workstreams and applications — from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment.


• Manages cross\-app dependencies, leads the technical shift strategy, and is the single project management interface with head of unit and senior management.


• Coaches the team, drives continuous improvement, and coordinate decisions with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and QA Lead.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• 11\+ years of experience in software development and team leadership roles.


• Experience in software engineering as a team lead or technical lead


• Hands\-on background in Java and/or JavaScript / React development


• Strong working knowledge of Agile and Kanban, including WIP management and flow metrics


• Experience managing technical migrations or platform shifts


• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management


• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business\-level status and risk language


• Proven delivery accountability — ownership of outcomes, not just execution
