Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Sports \& Remedial Massage Therapist with a keen interest in sport, ideally also qualified as at least a level 2 personal trainer. The successful candidate will provide specialised massage treatments aimed at improving athletic performance, alleviating injuries, and promoting overall wellbeing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in anatomy and therapeutic techniques within a supportive environment committed to client care and health optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customised sports and remedial massage treatments tailored to individual client needs


• Assess clients’ physical condition and develop appropriate treatment plans


• Apply advanced massage techniques to aid recovery from injuries, reduce muscle tension, and enhance mobility


• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports


• Provide advice on post\-treatment exercises and self\-care routines


• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment


• Stay informed about the latest developments in sports therapy and remedial massage practices


• Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage ongoing therapy sessions

Qualifications

• Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage


• Ideally also a qualified personal trainer or strength and conditioning coach


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatment procedures clearly


• Organised with a professional approach to client care and confidentiality

This role is ideal for passionate therapists eager to make a positive impact on clients' health and performance through expert massage therapy.

This is a part time, self employed role. Particular days and times are flexible and can be negotiated.

Pay: £20\.00\-£25\.00 per hour
