Accountabilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, environments, user interface elements, and visual effects using Spine.
- Rig, mesh, skin, and animate game assets while ensuring smooth and visually appealing motion.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, developers, artists, and product teams to deliver engaging gameplay experiences.
- Produce animations that align with the artistic direction, gameplay requirements, and overall visual style.
- Contribute to the development of new game projects by creating polished animation assets from concept through implementation.
- Refine and optimize animations based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency across the game.
- Support the continuous improvement of animation workflows and creative processes within the team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional animation experience, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Strong hands-on experience using Spine, including rigging, meshing, skinning, GUI animation, and visual effects animation.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Solid understanding and practical application of the 12 principles of animation.
- Ability to create expressive, polished, and visually engaging character and interface animations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong artistic eye for movement, timing, and storytelling.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for video games and interactive entertainment; prior gaming industry experience is considered a strong advantage.
