Remuneration: £65,000 + 10-15% bonus year one, £6 figure OTE year two

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Building Automation will involve:
- Field sales position promoting a manufactured range of building and home automation
- National role, you will spend 4 days per week out on the road in front of customers, one day working from our clients’ South East based office, making calls and setting appointments
- 50% of the role will focus on developing relations with MEP consultants and M&E consultants
- Remaining 50% developing relationships with M&E contractors
- You will inherit a project pipeline of circa £3.5m and will be expected to grow this to £5m in your first year
- No revenue target in the first 6 months, then £500k and £1m in the following year
- Circa 70% of your revenue will come via approx. 1000 installer partner relationships, 30% from your own network and business development activity
- Must have specification field sales experience
- Knowledge of smart homes, home Automation or building automation is not required
- Open to most HVAC, Lighting, building services and other associated electrical field sales backgrounds
- Network of contacts within MEP consultants, M&E consultants and M&E contractors would be advantageous
- Must be comfortable with one day a week on the phone in the office
- IT Literate
- Tonnes of drive, will suit someone on the up in the career
