An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Specialty Grade doctor to work 10 sessions per week in General Adult Psychiatry the West Fife Sector based at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.

The post holder will work as part of a multi professional team; including 3 General Adult Psychiatry Consultants for West Fife, junior doctors, experienced nursing staff, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists and support workers. The post holder will work with CPNs and a Community Mental Health team to deliver a service to the residents of West Fife. You will be responsible for the delivery of Out Patient Services and deliver clinics to meet this need through a variety of formats including face to face, near me and telephone consultations.

Applicants wishing to pursue membership of the Royal college of Psychiatrists will be supported in this and/or supported with provision of suitable experience to work towards applying for a CESR.

General Adult Psychiatry in Fife has a current focus on redesigning services which will be sustainable into the future. There are excellent opportunities for the successful candidate to contribute to service development and to influence the future shape and provision of psychiatric services across Fife.
