You’ll work with secondary-aged pupils (KS3–KS4, sometimes KS5) with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Moderate to complex learning difficulties
- Speech, language and communication needs
- Delivering adapted, engaging lessons in your specialist subject
- Supporting pupils to achieve EHCP targets and personal milestones
- Creating structured, inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Differentiating content to suit a wide range of abilities and needs
- Collaborating with support staff, SEN teams, and external professionals
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (any subject specialism)
- A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiation
- Experience with or interest in SEN, SEND or alternative provision
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
