Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only for 40 weeks per year
Salary: £26,815 to £27,616 per annum (actual salary). Plus generous benefits, including:

Are you passionate about supporting students with autism to thrive in education? We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Learning Support Practitioner to provide tailored one\-to\-one and group support for students with Autism. You will work closely with students, teaching staff, and external professionals to create inclusive learning environments that promote independence, well\-being, and academic success.
This role involves developing and implementing individualised support plans, delivering autism awareness training to staff, and contributing to the creation of autism\-friendly resources. You’ll play a key role in fostering resilience and emotional regulation in students, helping them to engage confidently with their studies and peers.
About the person
You will have experience of working with students with autism in an educational setting and be confident in implementing personalised support strategies and aiding teaching colleagues to adopt inclusive practices. A recognised qualification in autism or a willingness to work towards one is essential. You’ll bring strong communication and behaviour management skills, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
