As a core team member of the Galileo Service Operator (GSOp), DLR GfR mbH operates and manages the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany (GCC\-D).

As a Spacecraft Operations Engineer 1 you will be responsible for the operation of the satellites in the Galileo flight control team and will assume the following tasks:

• responsable for the satellite subsystem AOCS, EPS and Thermal


• Implementation of on\-console operations and off\-console activities for the Galileo constellation


• Planning and implementation of test procedures


• Provision of services in compliance with Key Performance Indicators


• Performance and trend analysis execution


• Error analysis and contingency procedures development


• Analysis, development, and validation of flight operations procedures


• Production of training documentations


• Support of the control center in Fucino, Italy

YOUR QUALIFICATION:
-----------------------

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably in aerospace engineering or equivalent experience in Galileo satellite operations


• very good knowledge of the satellite subsystems AOCS, EPS and Thermal


• Good level of spoken and written English


• Willingness to work in shifts


• Willingness to be on\-call
