Your mission

As a Space Mission Engineer you will

• Own the integrated mission plan, schedule, milestones and readiness activities.


• Coordinate spacecraft, payload, ground segment and launch\-provider interfaces.


• Manage launch campaign preparation, mission documentation and delivery readiness.


• Coordinate mission\-level requirements, ICDs, reviews, risks and dependencies with engineering teams and external partners.


• Lead LEOP, commissioning and operational\-readiness planning.


• Act as the primary mission coordination interface across spacecraft suppliers, launch providers, ground\-segment partners and internal technical teams.


• Track mission risks, critical\-path items and cross\-system integration issues.

Your profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline.


• At least 3 years of working experience in mission management


• Experience with satellite mission development, AIT/AIV, launch integration or mission operations.


• Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, ground segment, mission operations and launch interfaces.


• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external industrial partners.


• Familiarity with ECSS processes, mission reviews and technical documentation is highly desirable.


• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
