Sourcing Manager / Milton Keynes / Hybrid / Up to £60,000 Basic Salary
Overview:

Our client are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their team and manage the sourcing process for large business needs. This role will work closely with suppliers and include tender processes.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.


• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements.


• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.


• Run fair and clear tender processes


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.


• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.


• Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects by leveraging spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding processes.

• 3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positions


• Experience managing tender processes


• Experience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in value


• Confident making decisions


• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and business requirements.


• Team player

• Up to £60,000 basic salary
