Solutions Architect (Domain Accountability)
Oxford (2 days per week in office)

This role cannot offer Visa Sponsorship.

Your new company
I am engaged on a project to recruit a Solutions Architect to join a leading global organisation at the forefront of digital content. The business operates within a highly collaborative, enterprise scale environment where architecture, engineering excellence, and modern cloud based solutions sit at the heart of everything they deliver.

This role requires you to work a minimum of 2 days per week in their offices in Oxford.

Your new role
As a Solutions Architect, you'll take the technical lead across a sophisticated portfolio of digital platforms, shaping cohesive, scalable, end to end architectures. You'll partner with enterprise architecture and cross functional stakeholders to design, document, and guide complex multi system solutions, ensuring technical quality, performance, and long term maintainability.

Acting as the architectural authority for a range of customer facing products provided by 3rd parties, you'll have key influence in making decisions around iterating and improving the solutions. This is a role to really understand applications rather than being cloud-focussed. A key part of the role is working with non-technical stakeholders to correct technical debt and communication skills are paramount.

The role blends Architectural excellence and technical strategy to drive software best practice, aligning shared principles, supports delivery excellence, and ensures solutions meet expectations for performance, security, and long term maintainability.

What you'll need to succeed
We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect that has owned end-to-end architecture across multiple systems/platforms. Someone who's already stepped beyond project-level SA into platform or portfolio-level ownership.

The role works closely with stakeholders / product owners, so excellent comms skills to a non-technical audience are key.

An agnostic background within Software Development working across various stacks such as .Net, React and various databases will be important.

You must have experience operating as a Solution or Application Architect in a complex global/enterprise level organisation.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a highly competitive benefits package including a 10-20% annual bonus, 12% pension match, private medical insurance, a digital GP service and optional onsite gym. There is life insurance, income protection, and you'll start with 25 days' annual leave plus public holidays, Christmas closure, and additional service related days. Other perks include car and cycle salary sacrifice schemes, travel loans.
