Building on our long\-standing reputation, we launched our Solar PV division in 2023 to meet the growing demand for renewable energy solutions.

Following significant growth in our solar business, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Operations Manager to lead the day\-to\-day operations of our Solar PV department.

The Solar Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our Solar PV division, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Solar PV division.

  • Oversee project delivery from survey and design through to installation and commissioning.

  • Coordinate installation schedules, labour resources, materials, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

  • Lead and develop solar installation teams, providing guidance, support, and performance management.

  • Work closely with the sales and estimating teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

  • Maintain compliance with all relevant industry regulations, health and safety requirements, and accreditation standards.

  • Conduct site visits, quality inspections, and project reviews as required.

Requirements
  • Proven experience managing Solar PV installations and operations.

  • Strong understanding of domestic and commercial Solar PV systems.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.

  • Experience managing teams, subcontractors, and multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
