Software testing consultant

We at Smart Vision It Solutions LTD looking for a Software Tester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high\-quality you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and security of software through manual and automated testing processes. ISTQB qualified, the successful Software Tester will collaborate with cross\-functional teams, conducting thorough testing, identifying and reporting issues as well as ensuring optimal performance of projects.This role will require collaboration with other engineers across the development function.

The ideal candidate will have:

\- Proven experience in software testing, both manual and automated testing

\- Prior experience focusing on security testing.

\- ISTQB qualification achieved

\- Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices

\- Experience with bug\-tracking systems and test management tools

Roles \& Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements, technical constraints, and strategic objectives.


• Design and development of architectural blueprints, ensuring scalability, robustness, and efficiency of software solutions.


• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to achieve project goals while keeping an eye on emerging trends and advancements.


• Define and document architectural patterns, standards, and best practices, promoting consistency and reusability across projects.


• Actively engage in hands\-on research, development and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the code base, and release of software for Videalert.


• Technical contributions through code development, guidance to other engineers/developers, and collaboration with departments like technical operations, infrastructure, engineering, and production.


• Scheduling and work breakdown of cross\-functional development encompassing cloud services, backend software, system integration, and database development and management.

• 3\+ years of experience developing and launching websites and web applications


• Qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline or similar level of knowledge and experience in a highly regulated business sector environment.


• Ability to document, plan, market and execute program within an agreed budget and timescales.


• Proven experience within Quality.


• Strong oral and written communication skills.


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.


• Ability to act as a change agent.


• Demonstrate ability to influence others and willingness to explain processes/procedures to others.

Pay: £33,000\.61\-£39,630\.34 per year
